Heartbreak’s How To… Series of Theatre Masterclasses

Heartbreak is hosting a series of Theatre Masterclasses and Workshops at our headquarters in Leamington Spa. We have booked industry pros to come once a month throughout the spring and summer to deliver one-off sessions designed to hone theatrical skills in different disciplines. These sessions will provide a fun and supportive space to explore creative ideas. Click below for tickets and further information:

Saturday 6th July: Take the ‘threat’ out of Triple Threat with Vivi Bayliss

Saturday 3rd August: Perfect your Puppetry with Madeleine Carter

We welcome professional creatives wanting to brush up on their skills and aspiring performers wishing to gain further knowledge and experience to come and learn with us. These sessions are suitable for ages 17+.

What will the Masterclass include? 

Each theatre masterclass or workshop will be unique and tailored to the creative skills being explored. Sessions will encompass: an introduction, warm-up and group exercise before looking in more detail at the subject with the guest practitioner. The session will include a break for refreshments and will end with a Q&A, time permitting. If the session involves the guest practitioner working with individuals, we’ll do our best to see everyone’s work, but this may not be possible within time constraints.  

What shall I prepare? 

We will let you know exactly what you need to prepare for each session. We recommend wearing loose, comfortable clothing that you can move around in freely. We also recommend coming with an open, collaborative mind! 

Where? 

Our theatre masterclasses and workshops will be held at North Hall, Spencer Yard, Leamington, CV31  3SY – our headquarters in the heart of Leamington’s Cultural Quarter.

How do I find you? 

We are located next to Leamington’s Railway Station, and have also have on-street parking and Pay & Display parking within walking distance. North Hall is fully accessible. You are welcome to email any questions to marketing@heartbreakproductions.co.uk
