Thank you for booking tickets to see Heartbreak Productions this summer. We really hope you enjoy the show. To find specific information about the venue you are visiting, please select it from the drop down menu.

Please note, our productions go ahead in all but the worst weather. We perform in the sunshine and rain, and only cancel a performance if the weather poses a threat to safety, such as lightning. No refunds or exchanges will be given in the event of“rubbish weather”. If a performance has been able to go on until the interval, no refunds will be given. In the event that a show is called off before the interval, every attempt will be made to find a suitable alternative performance before a refund is offered. The decision to cancel is taken in conjunction with the venue, and all due consideration is given to the safety of the actors and the audience.

I’ve booked tickets to see a show, what do I need to bring with me?

Please arrive no later than 15 minutes before the performance start-time.

Unless you have booked a Covered ticket, bring something to sit on: rugs/blankets/low-backed seating.

Seating/space cannot be reserved and is allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.

Rugs/blankets will be positioned at the front with chairs placed behind.

Picnics are welcome at most venues, but some venues will have refreshments available to purchase onsite. Check your specific venue page or contact your venue directly to see whether you are allowed to bring outside food and drink.

Check the weather forecast beforehand to judge whether you will need to bring rain macs or sun lotion. If your venue is near water, you may want to consider bringing mosquito spray.

What are the running times of the productions?

Bad Dad has running time of 2 hours including a 15 minute interval.

MacHamLear and Sense & Sensibility are be 2 hours 15 minutes, including interval.

Can I refund or exchange my tickets?

Heartbreak only offers refunds with proof of a positive Covid Test. Please double check the dates and times of the production carefully, before you book.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN COVERED AND STANDARD TICKETS

Covered tickets include a chair, provided by Heartbreak, under a marquee. These are available at limited venues.

Standard tickets require you to bring your own seating – either a chair or rug – and sit in the open air.

COVID-19; WHAT STEPS ARE YOU TAKING AND WHAT TO DO IF I HAVE A POSITIVE TEST

We know the government has relaxed restrictions, however we know concern about Covid-19 is still very real. Therefore:

  • If you are feeling unwell, we recommend taking a lateral flow test before attending the performance.
  • If you test positive for Covid-19 you can either exchange your ticket for another day/time or request a refund. We will require proof of a positive lateral flow test. Please email info@heartbreakproductions.co.uk for assistance with cancellation or ticket exchange due to positive Covid-19 tests.

Rain is forecast later. Is the performance still going ahead?

How will I know if my performance has been cancelled or moved to an indoor location?

We will try to notify you in several ways if a performance has been cancelled or moved. We will always email ticket holders at the email address provided when tickets were purchased.
We will publish show status updates on social media if the weather is looking dicey. We are on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok, so be sure to follow us on one or all of those channels.
We will publish show status updates on the Weather Page on our website. So if you’re not sure, check there.

Can I bring an umbrella?

We recommend bringing waterproof jackets/trousers/blankets, etc, rather than umbrellas, as a courtesy to those who may be seated behind you.
You are welcome to bring umbrellas. However, we ask that you are consider the rest of the audience and their view of the stage.

On The Day

What time do gates open?

Gates open 45 mins before the performance start time at most venues. Please do not arrive before as the team will still be preparing the performance area. If in doubt you can check with your specific venue.

Can I buy tickets on the gate?

Tickets are available to buy on the gate at most venues. If you are booking a venue that is selling its own tickets, please check with them before planning to purchase tickets at the gate, as some performances may be sold out. Space and seats are first come, first served.

How is the event laid out?

In front of the stage is a section for people who are sitting on rugs. Behind them sit those who have brought their own chairs. Behind these people are the tents for people who have purchased a covered ticket. In the tents, there are 3 levels of chairs, with the highest at the back so everyone is able to see.
