Outdoor Theatre at Temple Newsam, Leeds
Heartbreak is delighted to bring open air theatre to Temple Newsam in Leeds this summer. We have entertained audiences for over 30 years with outdoor Shakespeare, classics, and family shows. So come and see us for captivating open-air performances of Bad Dad, Sense and Sensibility, and MacHamLear. Pack a picnic, dress for the weather, and head to Temple Newsam in Leeds for a unique outdoor theatre experience.
100 seats will be allocated for Pay What You Can at the following performances:
- Bad Dad Wednesday 9th August 6.30pm
- MacHamLear Thursday 10th August 7pm
- Sense & Sensibility Saturday 12th August 2pm
We are also running a 2-4-1 ticket offer for 16-24 year-olds at the Friday 11th August performance of MacHamLear as well as continuing our NHS discount through the 2023 season. For information on how to access these discounts, please check our Offers page.

Gates open 45 minutes before the performance. When you arrive at the venue, you will find parking at the house pay and display carpark. This will be free to attendees. There are several disabled parking spaces across the estate. Designated disabled bays are available in every car park. The performance area is located on the West Lawn. Remember to bring your own seating, either low backed chairs or rugs, and dress for the weather. This venue is wheelchair accessible.
