Outdoor theatre at The Botanical Gardens, Sheffield
The Botanical Gardens have been Heartbreak's home for outdoor theatre in Sheffield for over 20 years. Come and see us this summer for captivating open-air Shakespeare, classics, and family shows. We're bringing outdoor performances of Bad Dad, Sense & Sensibility, and our original Shakespearean homage, MacHamLear. So pack a picnic, dress for the weather, and head to the Botanical Gardens for a unique outdoor theatre experience.
PLEASE NOTE, ONLY THE THOMPSON ROAD ENTRANCE IS IN USE FOR PERFORMANCES AT THE BOTANICAL GARDENS.
Pay What You Can seats for Bad Dad on Saturday, June 24th are now FULL.
We are running a 2-4-1 offer for 16-24 year olds at the Friday 23rd June performance of Sense & Sensibility. We will also be continuing our NHS discount this year. For information on how to access these discounts, see our Offers page.

Gates open 45 minutes before show time. Parking near to the gardens is mostly residents' parking; however, there are some pay-and-display machines, as well as a pay-and-display car park across Thompson Road. For those wishing additional refreshment, a pop-up cafe will be running during most performances. Loos are located across from the performance area.
Remember to bring your own seating, either low backed chairs or rugs, and please let either Heartbreak or the venue know if you have any access needs.
