What is a Play in a Week workshop?

The students are taken on an exciting creative journey into the world of devising theatre for a performance in one week. In this action packed week the Workshop Leader provokes and stimulates creativity in the students, facilitates the students’ ideas into a narrative culminating in a dramatisation.

Costumes, set, dance, music and sound effects will all be incorporated into the final production. 

For a whole year group you can choose from a travelling leader who moves around the smaller groups or more leaders as your budget can afford. The play in a week workshop can also be provided with a pre-written script or storyline from the syllabus being studied as the focus point. The sessions can be tailored to suit individual requirements. We are very happy to discuss the options with you at a suitable time.
