What is a Play in a Day workshop?

The students are taken on an exciting creative journey into the world of devising theatre for a performance all in one day. In this action packed day the Workshop Leader provokes and stimulates creativity in the students, facilitates the students’ ideas into a narrative culminating in a dramatisation.

This can work effectively over additional days if required. If more than a one day workshop is booked then extra strands of work can be incorporated into the sessions - costumes, set, dance, music and sound effects. 

For a whole year group you can choose from a travelling leader who moves around the smaller groups or more leaders as your budget can afford. The play in a day workshop can also be provided with a pre-written script or storyline from the syllabus being studied as the focus point. The sessions can be tailored to suit individual requirements. We are very happy to discuss the options with you at a suitable time.
