Educational Experience Days
Heartbreak Productions provide educational experience days and sessions for English, Drama, Citizenship and Media students from years 7 - 13. Further education students and teacher training sessions also available.
The sessions take the following approach:
- workshop & forum theatre-style presentation
- focussing on key scenes, significant relationships and fundamental themes
- simplifying the language making it relevant for today’s teenage student
- educational, yet entertaining; interactive and fun
- performed in school with convenient single or double lesson format
- experienced, professional actors with classical theatre training
Workshops for English and Drama
Your students are the directors and they create their own version of classic scenes within the plays below. Heartbreak provide the professional actors and a selection of costumes, props, music and lighting to support the creative process.

Heartbreak takes out the heartbreak of hearing "MISS ... Shakespeare is Soooo boring"
Workshops for Citizenship or PSHE
Forum style productions that last for 30mins, scenes are then replayed according to student suggestions to produce more positive outcomes.
- Smashed (Alcohol forum style piece)
- Crash (Road safety forum style piece)
- Banter (Bullying forum style piece)

Creative Productions
Create a film or a play in a set period of time, this mean the students do all the performing facilitated by Heartbreak Productions.
