Education

As a company we have been creating educational projects for 20 years. Our focus is to give control to the students and participants. We bring all the necessary tools including top quality professional actors to develop their imagination and creativity. Because education is such a broad subject we have broken our work down into four main areas.

• Schools               - (Workshop Products for schools) 
• Heartbreak Hub - (Workshops at North Hall for 5 to 16yr olds)
• Community         - (Community projects) 
• Training               - (Training for the workplace)

We transfer our principles from working together as professionals into schools. Our specialism is creating a "forum" or interactive workshop environment for primary and secondary pupils. This allows the students to take control of the drama and direct the actors to develop the piece. We find that this approach deepens their understanding of the play and gives them a sense of empowerment. It encourages imagination, improves their communication skills and heightens their awareness of working as an ensemble. They also have fun and find it liberating to be in charge! We love watching students learn. It’s as if a lightbulb suddenly goes on in their minds!
